Shine Equine is the culmination of a lifetime passion for horses.
Our journey began with a childhood dream.
As a young girl, I always dreamed of owning a horse. While life took me down different paths, that passion never truly left me. Years later, my daughter came to me with the very same love for horses—only stronger than I had ever imagined. Her determination to learn, grow, and excel in the equestrian world reignited my own passion and brought me back to an industry I had always loved.
To my surprise, she displayed remarkable natural talent and dedication in a very short period of time. She quickly found her passion in the sport of Reining, captivated by the athleticism, precision, speed, powerful sliding stops, and lightning-fast spins that define the discipline.
Wanting to support her dreams, I planned a mother-daughter road trip from California to Arizona to visit some of the industry’s premier training facilities and help her find her first Reining horse. During that journey, we fell in love with an exceptional mare by Magnum Chic Dream out of a Walla Walla Whiz daughter and welcomed her into our family from the beautiful Storybook Stables in Rio Verde, Arizona.
What started as a horse search quickly became a lifestyle. We began traveling weekly from California to Arizona so my daughter could train with some of the industry’s top professionals. Watching her spend countless hours in the saddle—working tirelessly, staying focused, and continually striving to improve—was both inspiring and humbling.
As a mother, I knew I wanted to do everything possible to support her passion and help her pursue her dreams. Through our travels, competitions, and daily life around horses, I recognized a need for premium grooming products that delivered exceptional results while remaining safe, natural, and effective.
That realization became the foundation of Shine Equine.
Today, Shine Equine is more than a grooming brand. It is a reflection of dedication, hard work, family, and the belief that dreams are worth pursuing. Every product we create is inspired by the horses, riders, and families who share the same passion that started our journey many years ago.
