Dani Latimer
Dani Latimer grew up on a ranch in Oklahoma. Her love and genuine understanding of the horse was noticed early on. Daughter of NRHA professional and judge, Dean Latimer, and niece of NRHA $2 million dollar rider Duane Latimer. Dani has always been exposed to all aspects of the reining industry.
She began showing at the age of 6 and hasn’t missed a year since. In her show career thus far, she has been a major event non-pro finalist at the NRHA Futurity, Derby and NRBC multiple times. Dani is a 2x NAAC Champion along with many wins in the non-pro and youth classes at a variety of NRHA shows. She was a 2x Team USA Young Rider (2017& 2019) at the FEI World Championships and is an FEI Bronze Medalist. Dani’s accolades continue, leading up to a division 1 scholarship at Southern Methodist University.
Since being at SMU, Dani has been a 2x All American, 2x National Championship “Most Outstanding Player” in the reining, NCEA Reining Rider of the year, 2x All Championship Team and multiple Conference Rider of the month/weeks. Dani currently holds the record for All Time Program High reining “MOP’s” (most outstanding player) within her 3 years at SMU.
